THEY ARE HERE!!!

While most people went bananas over the re-release of the Cool Grey Jordan XI, I quietly counted down the days until my personal favorite shoe of all time, which too is a Jordan re-release. I must digress and say I too got a pair of the Cool Grey Jordans, thanks in part to a last minute call from a trusted family member (Lacy from THEM) and a person  I would like to codename as *Bird*. Anyway on to what I would like to describe simply as "The best J's ever HANDS DOWN". The Cement Jordan III's  were re-released today and I got a pair, sadly only one pair. I still would like to get my hands on some more of them but only time will tell if that is more reality or inception. Im nowhere near as big a sneaker head as many of my friends are , but I can tell you this much, these shoes go hard!!!! I would like to thank *Bird* for playing a part in securing these puppies too. Next purchase for me will likely be Marvel Vs Capcom 3 for the PS3, yes Reggie B the nerd you are all too unfamiliar with is in full effect! Ciao

BEST J's EVER HANDS DOWN

The Cool Kids......

Boy oh boy, where do I begin, I guess there's no better place than the beginning.....

Fall 2009, the owners of StrongBox Lounge approached Reggie and I, they wanted to give StrongBox some flavor but within good reason *we all know what that means (haha)*. We mulled it over and thought "Hey, let's give this a shot!" We wanted to give Philly nightlife a shot in the arm. We were fresh off an amazing vacation from Vegas and we knew if we could bring some of the energy back to Philly we'd be onto something.  That didn't, really work but hey, it was worth a try!!! The first few parties at StrongBox were straight duds, scud missiles, bombs over baghdad, whatever you want to call them, they were terrible....We didn't know how to "throw" a party, we just knew "how" to party.

Fast forward to......

A party for Drew "The Mayor" Carballo and Terressa "Shortie No Mas" Thompson. You talk about a sh*t show!! The party was awesome, simple and plain...From there the good times rolled, the buzz started and Reggie and Jackiem became the "Cool Kids".

For the Record, we did not come up with the name, we simply said, "if you're cool you will come out on a weekday, Tuesday night is Friday or Saturday night".  As with most things, people ran with it. Instead of saying they were going to party with Jack and Reg, people started saying they were going to party with The Cool Kids. We didn't complain, we just wanted people come to party. Tuesday nights were definitely a success and we put StrongBox on the map. We've had some very notable people come in and out those doors; Lebron James, Ryan Howard, Tyreke Evans, Desean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Andre Iguodala, Marsha Ambrosius, Mario, Uncle Wes, just to name a few...

The Cool Kids is a brand, the nightlife arm of The 400 PTM. if you hear the name, you know the party is going to be crazy, and in a good way. The most notable of our events thus far have been Jeremy Maclin's birthday Party at Sumo Lounge. The secret Lebron James party at StrongBox,

...and our infamous annual Christmas party, this year it was held at Recess Lounge.

Anything we put our time and effort into we believe will inevitably be a success, this was no exception. A little party on a Tuesday night in Rittenhouse opened some doors for us....We are EXTREMELY APPRECIATIVE to any and everyone that has attended a Cool Kids party and we are thankful to any and everyone that we have met and built relationships along the way......

400 Influence...

A little over a week ago, we had the pleasure of orchestrating a photo shoot/interview for Philadelphia Sixers G/F Andre Iguodala for The Source Magazine. The segment "Jocks Meets Jocks" aligned an athlete with a radio personality, Dre had the pleasure of working with Kendra G. from 100.3 The Beat.

The shoot was awesome, although it lasted around three hours, we all had a good time. It's always a pleasure to be around great positive people....Shout Out to Andre Iguodala, Kendra G, Larry Howard (The Source Magazine), Kendall Hurns (CEO of Robotic Minds Clothing), AZ (Creative Director of Robotic Minds), Whitney Thomas (Photographer), Curran Swint (Stylist).....
